Lauds Laudsen Damm was born circa 1748 in Denmark 1. He died on June 20, 1809 in Mjols, Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.

Lauds was a day laborer in Denmark. He and his family were poor, and apparently relied on alms to survive. Within Rise Parish, Lauds and his family lived in the villages of Lunderup and Miols.
Lauds married Christina "Stine" Christensdatter Richelsen on November 2, 1782 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. She was born on December 2, 1751 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. She died on May 1, 1828 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.

Mother: Kiesten Hanses

During her life, Christina used both Christens/Christensdatter (her patronymic name) or Richelsen (her surname, probably adopted by her father).

They had the following children:
1 Kiesten Damm was born on August 11, 1783 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. She died on October 22, 1784 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.
2 Lauds Laudsen Damm was born on April 10, 1785 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. He died before 1828.
3 Kiesten Damm was born on February 23, 1787 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. She died on December 14, 1832 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.
4 Maren Damm
5 Christen Richelsen Damm was born on January 2, 1793 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. He died on June 26, 1794 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.
6 Christen Regelsen Damm was born on May 6, 1795 in Kliplev, Åbenrå, Denmark. He died on November 22, 1837 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.
He married Christina Maria Holm on October 6, 1827 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. (She was born on March 6, 1796 in Uge, Åbenrå, Denmark and died on January 13, 1841 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.)
They had the following children:
Christine Damm (1828-aft. 1843)
Kjesten Damm (1831-1833)
Lauds Damm (1834-1835)
Lauds Hansen Damm (1836-1838)

3rd Generation:

Maren Damm was born on January 25, 1789 in Lunderup, Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2. She died on October 21, 1845 in Rise-Hjarup, Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 3.

Father: Lauds Laudsen Damm
Mother: Christina Christensdatter Richelsen

Maren was apparently born in the village of Lunderup in Rise Parish, Denmark. In her youth, they lived in both Lunderup and Miols. She was confirmed in 1804, at the age of 15. After her marriage to Antoni Kling in 1822 (at the age of 33), they lived in the village of Rise-Hjarup; where she died.

Maren married Antoni Hansen Kling on July 13, 1822 in Rise, Åbenrå, Denmark 2.
